Welcome to our FAQ page! Below we have listed most of our frequently asked questions. We’ve tried to keep it as simple as possible.
How do we download the BUDDY ASSIST app?
You will go to Google Playstore if you have an Android phone, or to Apple Istore if you have an Iphone. Please watch short video.
How do we register once we have downloaded the BUDDY ASSIST app?
Registration is easy and will take no more than 2 minutes. In the login screen tap “Sign up” on the bottom right and fill in the form.
What does the BUDDY ASSIST app cost to download?
Zero, not one cent.
Do I need to add my bank details?
You do not need to load your card details in order to register, however, you will need to have your card loaded when requesting a service. IT IS ADVISABLE THAT YOU LOAD YOUR CARD DETAILS TO SAVE YOU TIME IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY.
Are my card details safe and who keeps this information?
BUDDY ASSIST DO NOT hold your card details, these details are entered directly on the secure VCS gateway system.
How do I add my dependents?
You may have as many dependents as you wish download the BUDDY ASSIST app on their own phones and use your card details when registering. It is highly advisable that you have your dependents download the app and load your details so they are ready for any emergency.
How do I change my phone number on the BUDDY ASSIST app?
Under Profile, tap on Telephone line to edit or change it.
How do I change my physical address on the BUDDY ASSIST app?
Under Profile, tap on the Address line to edit or change it.
I have forgotten my password?
On the login screen tap “forgot Password” option follow the instructions to reset your password.
My pick-up location is incorrect when I use “AT MY CURRENT LOCATION”
Sometimes the GPS system is inaccurate, you are therefore also able to type in an address or use your registered address as a location.
What if I would like to use the BUDDY ASSIST app to send to an “OTHER” address, perhaps a friend or family member?
No problem, simply type in the address at which you would require the service and you may GPS track and watch the Service Provider accept, travel, arrive and complete the job at another address. This way you can inform your friend or family member who is on the way and when they have arrived at your door.
